Our show is  big enough to have fun and we are small enough to get to know you and your HOT ROD.

I promise NOT to scream at you and tell you that you are too late and that we are not going to take your  entry  because there are to many cars in the show( I had been sitting in a car show for over an hour) or tell you ,YOU CAN NOT park there!!! ,you need to park on the other side of the parking lot. And get this, or get  judged while parking your car. these are things that happened to me this last year. CC riders are here to help you and your family in every way to make your stay fun . we are proud of our plaques and glass trophies , custom t-shirts & rod run chairs and did I say $$CASH$$ AND OUR DOWN TOWN STORES.OUR SPONSORS ARE BACKING US 100% AND PROUD TO SEE THEIR MONEY COMING BACK TO THE KIDS

   .Scott reported that the billboard is up on I20 near mm 216.  it looks really great.

   Plans are underway for the 2009 car show and cruise. We are changing the date from May to June this year to avoid some conflicts with schedules. June 12 and 13 will be the respective dates for the friday cruise and saturday car show. This will allow us more car shows to pass out fliers and avoid conflicts with area car shows.

   The Friday cruise on June 12 will start with registration at the Railhead building on 1st and Elm at 6:00pm with the cruise and poker run starting at 7:00pm.  Cruise 10.00 and poker run 5.00   Poker run will be hi-lo split and plaques and door prizes will be given out at Sonic at 9:00pm  There will be cash prizes for the King and Queen Cruise.

   Car show entry is still 25.00 at the door and 20.00 for pre entry. There will be a drawing for cash for pre entries only. Pre entries can be mailed to CC Riders, po box 460, Colorado City, Texas 79512

   David Pritchard will be cooking the brisket again this year. mmmmmmm I can almost taste it now.

  We have already agreed on several items which include dropping the  4x4 class and adding another Camaro class.
